Michael's Background

Michael Beavers is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in individual, couples and family therapy. He is also a leadership and life coach, supporting clients' (typically therapists, business or community leaders, or other professionals) who are looking to maximize their potential through the development and execution of cutting edge strategies.  He is the CEO/Founder/Clinical Director of Mountain Counseling & Training, Inc., a not-for-profit community organization.

He is a graduate of California Baptist University, has received post-graduate training in leadership development and coaching at the San Bernardino County Management Leadership Academy (at which he also served as a training consultant) and the Executive Coaching College. Michael has over two decades of experience as a marriage and family therapist, specializing in family therapy, Wraparound, and individual clinical work.  He has also been active in community service, serving Rotary and faith-based groups in such areas as Abolition.
